A little about me...

As executive director of Kincaid Business Writing, Cynthia Kincaid is an award-winning writer and consultant with more than 20 years of editorial, marketing, and media relations experience. She has written numerous articles, annual reports, manuals, proposals, and advertising and marketing collateral for federal, county, and state agencies, in addition to medical, healthcare, and business clients.

Additionally, she has written for numerous commercial and trade publications, including Washington CEO, Medical Imaging, Hospitals and Health Networks, the Journal of Emergency Medical Services, Training, Area Development, J. Ray News, Casual Living, The Safety Net, Arizona Business Magazine, Publishing Executive, Phoenix Magazine, Sanitary Maintenance, the Phoenix Business Journal, the Sacramento Business Journal and the East Bay Business Times.

She is the recipient of a 2007 Excellence in Journalism award from the Society of Professional Journalists.

She is also a contributing writer for a business publication that was the winner of the 2008 Houston Business and Marketing Lantern Award.

Toastmasters International awarded Cynthia a Divisional Motivational Speaking Award, and her dynamic speaking ability has earned her interviews in newspapers and on various radio stations. She has presented seminars on marketing and writing for a wide variety of organizations.

Cynthia holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington.
