·Clean floors to include sweeping, dust mopping, stripping/sealing/waxing, buffing hard floors, vacuuming, and shampooing carpet floors. Clean restrooms, medical offices, Child Development Centers, Fitness center, and laboratories to include stocking of supplies. Fitness center is 32,603 SF and the medical facility is 18,518 SF. Ensure outside entrances/steps are clean and clear of debris.
·General office cleaning to include trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, etc.
·Clean cafeteria dining and entryway areas. Refuse collection and recycling material disposal. Emergency cleaning is required within 1 hour but is responded to immediately when notified. High profile area of NASA requires many Distinguished Visitors. Guests have included Top Government officials to include Directors of NASA, Senators, Congressmen, and the President of the United States. In preparation for DV visits we assign a team to perform extra cleaning throughout the day of the visit to include making sure conference rooms being used are continuously cleaned and that all restrooms are fully stocked. Marshall Space Fight Center has special events throughout the year to include an open house that brings in over 10,000 visitors.
