Installation of new drainage lines to help alleviate drainage issues.

Project Description

Harrison Park is located at 18th Street and Damen Avenue.  The Park was originally a stone quarry which was filled with construction debris and other materials.  The park had settling and drainage issues prior to the start of construction which rendered it unusable for Park District activities after rainfalls.  The proposed work of adding new drainage lines as well as correcting the grade of the existing park are expected to help alleviate these problems and provide the community with a valuable resource.

d'Escoto, Inc.'s Role

As a sub-consultant to Patrick Engineering, d'Escoto Inc. provided site inspections and documentation services for the grading and drainage improvements at Harrison Park.  Project scope included site visits, with follow-up field reports and photos to show contractor progress, quantities installed or placed, number of workers on-site, and site conditions.  The project scope also included attendance to monthly project meetings and the generation of meeting minutes following the monthly project meetings.
