DAVENPORT TRANSPORT & RIGGING LLC began business operations on June 10, 2005 by Mike, David, Donnie and Richard Davenport.

The Davenport family has been in the heavy transport and rigging industry since 1971 and through the years has built a reputation for tackling the abnormal and oversize movements in stride. In the 1980's, Davenport was subcontracted by three separate transportation companies due to their lack of equipment capacity to transport three M1A1 Abrams Army tanks from Fort Hood, Texas to the Port of New Orleans and delivered on time as per government schedule.

Our personnel are seasoned professionals in the Heavy Transport and Rigging industry with many of our current employees working with the family since the 1970's.

Davenport Transport & Rigging LLC has assembled an inventory of innovative equipment to handle the most difficult shipments via road, rail, barge or a combination of all disciplines.
