The Environmental Solution

Alliance provides innovative and cost effective solutions to environmental compliance issues, including:

Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA):  A Phase I ESA looks for the possibility and probability of contamination from current and historical site operations and from neighboring facilities.  The Phase I ESA may recommend further investigation or determine that further investigation is not necessary.  All Phase I ESA's conducted by Alliance are compliant with 40 CFR 312, All Appropriate Inquiry.

Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA):  A Phase II ESA involves a subsurface investigation to determine if contamination exists and can include sampling and analysis of soil, groundwater and building materials.

Remediation:  Development and implementation of remedial work plans for removal or reduction of contaminates to acceptable levels or hazard mitigation.

Underground Storage Tanks:  Complete tank assessment, closure and reporting services for regulated and non-regulated tanks.  Alliance develops and implements regulatory compliant remedial plans for soil and groundwater impacted by leaking underground storage tanks (LUSTs).  Alliance also provides support documentation for state Excess Liability Fund (ELF) programs which reimburse owners of eligible tanks for cleanup costs.

Indoor Air Quality:  Surveys, testing, analysis and assessment of indoor air quality to determine if problems are present (i.e. mold), as well as remediation and project design to reduce or eliminate problems identified.  Alliance also provides construction supervision and contract administration services to prevent indoor air quality problems once construction is complete.

Asbestos:  Inspection, sampling and assessment of building materials to determine if asbestos is present.  If asbestos is present in your building(s), Alliance can develop management plans, operations and maintenance programs, provide employee training, and conduct periodic surveillance and designated person activities.  Alliance also provides project design, supervision and air monitoring services for asbestos abatement projects.

OSHA General Safety Programs:  Alliance provides survey and assessment services and develops written compliance programs for OSHA regulated and insurance required health and safety issues.  Alliance also provides OSHA compliant employee training.

Wetlands:  Alliance personnel are trained in United States Army Corps of Engineers methods to determine if wetlands are present, and if so, the boundaries of the wetland.  If required, Alliance can prepare wetlands permit submittals as required by state and federal regulatory agencies.

Mercury:  Management, recycling and cleanup programs for mercury-containing items and mercury spills.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA):  Barrier surveys, transition plans, employee training, compliance plans, initial design review and construction supervision.
